breakfast at Mini's: pickle,
potato curry, mung bean curry,
vegetable curry, poppadom and
of course lots of rice
There's nothing in my diary about today but I think I spent most of it working on my talk and making plans to spend the weekend in Madurai. I think I finally got to photograph my way from Ajeesh's house to Nedumkandam town.
I was intrigued by the way the main road was being resurfaced. Gaps had been left in the new surface where phone-line poles remained. Over a month later, the poles were pulled down by teams of labourers, leaving these scars. They would be filled in a week later.
