Suitably chelonificated and refreshed, we set off back towards Charlestown. Most of the return journey was without incident: back through Lower Sticker, past Carnmoggas, through Little Polgooth and London Apprentice onto the B3273. We intended to turn east at 012512, skirt Tregorrick and Duporth and finally arrive in Charlestown at 037516. Yet again we overshot, turning east at 0133516. This forced us to go up a steep, narrow road from 019518 to 019513, before regaining the even steeper Tregorrick Road and encountering abysmal behaviour by car drivers. The road from 029515 to Charlestown was closed to cars - a narrow pedestrian/cyclist way had been left open. We returned to Chalestown and our B&B without further incident.
