8th: holiday snaps!

I cycled to Airdrie to meet Elly. I then went to Glasgow to take photos of Calton for a Modern Studies book. Elly then drove us to Lenzie so I could take more photos.

35 miles in a little under 3 hours.

13th: Kintyre

Elly had to go to Campbeltown for work. I'd not been to Kintyre so we loaded Vilior onto Bug and took the Lochranza to Clonaig ferry. Elly then drove to Campbelltown while I failed to cycle there - the 16% slopes with hairpin bends defeated me by the time I got to Saddell.

19th: Clearing out

We loaded up Bug with lots of stuff to take to a local charity shop.

We hired an even bigger car (vans weren't available) to take even more stuff to the dump.

Elly took Bug to Pirnmill and came back by bus so we just had to cycle out to collect him.

24th: cycling finale

We attempted to cycle from Edinburgh to Wagamama (a japanese noodle restaurant) in Livingston. This should have been only 17 miles but Livingston's cyclepaths aren't well signposted.
